In the IV quarter of 2009 in Ukraine there was an increase in prices for construction materials by 2% per month. In early 2010 general building materials began to rise in price, and finishing - cheaper. These data analysts "Agency of the market of construction materials" (IAA PAU).
According LIGABiznesInform in the company, among the major trends should be noted:
- In the IV quarter of 2009, the market prices of general materials remained virtually stable in the market of finishing materials grown by about 4% per month.
- In early 2010 the trend changed: construction materials began to rise in price, and finishing - cheaper (see Chart 1.).
- Leaders in price increases have laminated flooring (laminate), and under the heading "Building Materials" - granite rubble and facing brick.
Thus, from October 2009 to January 2010 prices for construction materials rose by 6%. In the near term monthly increase in prices could amount to about 2%.
It should be noted that in the winter construction activity decreases, which reduces the vendors' proposals for about 30-35%. Since the beginning of the new construction season, it is likely that higher prices could be exacerbated by increasing demand.
